true, very true. Now I see why They would use the Apple sign. But still, what's up with the no-bite thing? It still seams conspicuous to me. But, maybe it only seems conspicuous to someone who looks for it. not sure Confused

I think it's a case of "if you know what to look for, you can find it". Non-wizards would just assume that the manufacturers made a mistake printing the logo or something; wizards (and readers) would know better.
Wizardry is not visible to the unbelieving heart, or something like that.
Anyway, my question about the apple logo was directed to kk, as a possible explanation for it "start[ing] up at midnight and typ[ing] by itself."

If MY computer started going off and typing things, it would most likely be blamed on one of my sites...the computer only ever seems to go crazy when I"M on it, so...

No, it doesn't have an apple logo without a bite, except for the background that I downloaded from th YW website. It stopped typing and turning on, but it might have started up again, I'm on vacation, so I wouldn't know. I also unplugged it, but it started up anyway. At least it works okay with my programs, except for the CD drive being broken, it's fine. My aunt (the same one married to my wizard uncle, or at least I think he's a wizard) said something about it being haunted. (but she said it immediatly after I suggested it was magic. Is she hiding something???)
Maybe I should bring up a blank document and see what Plethora (that's what I named the computer, it means "many") is typing! I name electronics, and it's fun! I named my church's computer "Spottie" and their other computer, my friend named "Junior." (by the way, my church's computer is an apple computer, and since I usually get their old electronic stuff, someday it might be mine!) Ack! another long post with no apparent point to it!

Sometimes I really wish I did have one of the wizard computers. How much fun would that be?
*stares off into space daydreaming* umm, anyways, it would be fun to own one! Wink

the closest thing i've gotten to a magic appliance, is a tv that would change channels, or go on and off by itself sometimes...but only when i was there. we gave it to an uncle, never did it again apparently. except once. when i was watching something on it. *finds this kinda creepy, and doesn't know what the heck could be causing something like this to happen* But then again, sometimes its funner just to wonder...cause the answer might be something boring.

Are you sure you weren't just sitting on the TV remote? Maybe it has something to do about that brainwaves/radiowaves thingy. Hmmmmm.... *wonders*

YR:... Maybe it had something wrong with it. Or, as kk said, you were sitting on the remote. ><

And to think I used to think I could control the rain. Pfffft. I was dim.

You thought you could control rain?? Weird. Well, no weirder than me, I named all the electronics in the house, and at my friends houses. (including the fridge, TVs, computers, Smoke alarms, alarm clocks, printer/scanner/fax machines, etc)

I remember you thinking that...*is saddened by your sudden beliefe in your dimness* i once PRETENDED i could, personally. i found it kindof funny, particularly when it insisted on coinciding with all my attemps. *Shrugs* plus, it really weirded out my mom, which is always a plus. *grins* and one...it didn't HAVE a remote. two: the whole thing about there being something wrong with it doesn't explain why it didn't act baddly when the guy we gave it too watched it, particularly since i think he watched it more then I had...And it can't be because different signals were finding the way to where he was, because one of the few times i watched it after giving it away to my uncle (the guy we had given it too) it did it again. *Shrugs* I don't think of it super creepy or anything like that...i just find it really strange since there really SHOULD be a common facter in there, other then the fact that it was me watching it when it happened!

Even the _smoke alarms_??? That's... kind of weird. More than kind of. . .

-blinks- I was seriously immature then. Why would I think I could control the rain? Ahh, it's embarassing.

Young Reader, maybe the reason the TV only went weird when you watched it was because your brainpower is a lot more than your uncle's?? I heard of cases where something goes wrong with a TV, and it starts picking up brain signals. Just a thought, and a weird on, at that.

berto_lova!99430 : That was serously the worse one liner I have ever seen. Please try to make it at least a couple lines instead of saying "no i wish". DD pays for these posts and it helps if you don't make a bunch of tiny one liners. Not trying to be rude, just asking if you could make your posts a couple lines longer. :]

Anyways. I don't think the TV was magical. That happens all the time. My iPod turns on and off when it isn't doing the right song it was supposed. Or when it stays in the rating mode. A lot of things turn on and off just on coinencidence. Not to spoil your fun. Or whatever. Just my take on it.

I don't even know Spanish (which I've been trying to learn for years). *sighs* Of course, if I learned the Speech my Spanish-inhibition wouldn't be such a big deal! Wink
