Yeah, I do like the costumes. And the Lancelot. Good casting, I thought- actually, I felt quite proud, because I guessed the Lancelot and the Galahad before we got the bit in the trailer that actually named them. Big Grin They just looked right, so I guess I have to gove them that casting.

Meh. You may be right about the whole treason thing, but she's still always struck me as someone who stuffed it all up because she was... a little hopeless, maybe. Well, no, actually, nothing like that. Just... anything but a warrior. I meran, don't we already have enough warriors in the story? Like, every other character (that isn't a monster or a wizard, and the last's debatable)?

I'm curious. Did anyone here see 'Willard' when it came out? I want to know if it's worth seeing. I'm a 'Rat' in the Chinese Zodiac, BTW, which is part of the reason I'm asking about the movie.

Bump.

So, who's planning on seeing Prisoner of Azkaban the day it opens?

And has anybody seen Van Helsing? I'm hearing terrible reviews.

I am planning on seeing Prisoner of Azkaban on the 5th of June... which happens to be the chat session with DD. I need an exact time (my time zone) for the chat so that I can be here and not at the HP movie.

I heard that Van Helsing is good... guess it depends on what you want in a movie. It is kind of a Buffy meets Spiderman. Lots of weird things in it. I put a url up for a place to go to watch the trailors. I put it in the wrong place, I guess. I will post it here too.

AngelI want to see Prisoner of Azkaban the day it comes out, because I'm going on vacation a few days later. Bouncing Grin I've also gone with my friend on the first day for the first 2. Bouncing Happy I don't have time to watch many movies while school is in, so I'm just waiting for summer. Sunny Angel

Angel_Star:

That is exactly why I am not seeing HP until a day after it comes out. I will be on vacation that week. At least I get home Friday night so that we can go Saturday.

*weird song popping in my head by Dada*

I just ran away from home now, I'm going to Disneyland
I just scratched my car again, I'm going to Disneyland

Well, stupid song.... but that is where I am going.

Gonna Be A Bear
---------------

In this life I'm a woman. In my next life, I'd like to come back as a bear. When you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months. I could deal with that.

Before you hibernate, you're supposed to eat yourself stupid. I could deal with that too.

When you're a girl bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you're sleeping and wake to partially grown, cute, cuddly cubs. I could definitely deal with that.

If you're mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too. I could deal with that.

If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.

Yup, gonna be a bear!

My two best friends saw Van Helsing.. Without me. I was working, and they took advantage of me... *cries* (yes, I finally got a job. Proud of me?)

Lucy, who is very forgiving, thought it was okay. Meg, who isn't, and hates horror movies (As in, she dislikes them, not as in, she's scared by them. I'm scared, but I _like_ them.) said "it's better than Charlie's Angles, and it's getting worse reviews." *shrugs* Soooo....

They said it had some funny moments. Worth it, you think?

If you like scary movies and are into vampires, wolves, etc... I think that you would probably like it. There are many movies that I have loved and they got bad reviews. One of my favorite movies, case in point, The Fifth Element, got horrible reviews... and yet it is one of my favorite movies.

I am *VERY* proud of you. Good luck with the new job.

I agree with Chani. I haven't seen it yet, but you know how the critics treat movies like that. You just can't trust reviews. I would trust DD opinion, though, I think.

The Last Samuri was sooooooo awesome!!! SO awesome! But we had to take it back the day after we got it... *grumble* And I had just seen a movie with Tom Cruise as a kid so it was kinda cool to compare him as a kid and an adult.

Very good movie.. thought I would like it and I did. Reminded me of Dances With Wolves kinda... .little more action and gore, but not as gross (that egg thing in DWW was sick.)

So, who's gonna see The Terminal? I think it looks like fun.

(BTW, best movie I've seen so far as summer action flicks go, is Shaolin Soccer. Total hoot.)

ooo Never heard of it until I saw the link. Sounds preety good. By far the best movie ive seen in a while (and acctualy it's preety old) is Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Second would have to be Pirates of the Carrabian.(I think thats how you spell it Big Grin)

Spielberg and Hanks, what's not to like?

But, then, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a classic. Second only to Life of Brian.

If you liked Pirates of the Carribean, you might wanna take a peek at King Arthur. Same producer (Jerry Bruckheimer, the guy behind The Amazing Race and all those CSIs, too) and still in association with Disney (who are, of course, also Touchstone and Miramax).

My fave list of upcoming movies is the IMDb's "Now Playing" page.
