By the fire, by the light,
In the battle of the night,
As I wait for you to come,
Am I the only,only one,
Who can see,
The bravery,
That makes you win,
The conflict, that we're in.

(YW,oO)
Hey,
Don't look at me,
I didn't choose to stay for eternity,
And anyway,
What d'ya say?
Who woud choose to live forever,
If they could have the choice.

(LP?PBotSoN)
I'm waiting,
For you're answer.
Against the other side,
Who will you choose,
D'ya wanna loose,
'Cause thats what you will do,
If They side and fight with you.

(YW,oO)
Let me go,
I haven't chosen yet,
With whom that,
I'll place my bet,
Them of light,
Or One of dark,
Who will let me keep my spark?
Of hope, and lightning struck.

Too be Continued...

Guess. I dare ya. Acronyms are odd.

Wow, so not reading 16 pages of poetry, though I'm sure it's all badass.

Anyway, I'll be frequenting this topic alot. Big Grin

You people get to enjoy my... "modern" poetry first. >_> Snickerdoodle, hehehe.

Rain Upon The Saintly Martyr

The sky cried and cackled
Whence upon the earth trudged a man that was shackled
For his dues he was doomed
His silence, to their pleas, was met by thundering booms.
They had come so very far, so very far to see this mar
To see this mar hung on this day so dreary
Many came and were very weary.
Not he though, not he
He did not shout nor did he plea
He had made no effort to flee
He was not tamed nor was he broken
But in his silence he was outspoken
But even above the deafening roar
The growing fervent on the floor
Was all drowned out by the peal and crack
Of the turmoil displayed on Heaven’s back
He approached the gallows, calm and slow.
Upon his face was a smile lit with wondrous glow.
Within the distance the Church bell fell
Taking the honor of his death knell
Freedom came, somber and sweet
As the Hangman tore the floor from beneath this feet
The storm did heave one final time
Ushering a symphony of rhymes
A tide of cracks, a rush of booms
Torrents of water from the dark beasts that loom
Between the crossing of Heaven and Earthly doom
The sinners flee from the site
Afraid of that Heavenward might.
One Martyr hangs from a height
The tool, the rope, pitifully tight
He descends from hemp
And walks away to find others he may tempt.

Inexcusable – One of my Inner Minds

To the man presented the noose, he has two options
To approach the gallows with his head held high
To show he bears no shame
But he may also bow his head
In reconciliation or in pain
So if I were to die by the Hangman’s call
Tried against his twisted game, expected only to fall.
I would throw my head and laugh
To show them I have no shame
Inexcusable they cry! Inexcusable is this madman!
Dare he not sob and shout?
Or least plead for life in vain?
Instead he refuses silence and simply laughs!
He laughs at them and how they behave
Behaving so terribly inane.

The Forms of the Muse

The muse has come to me so many times
So many times to drive me in the right direction
So many times to bring me to my knees
Bring me to my knees over the glory of the imagination
The beauty, the sheer raw power, of the imagination

The muse has come to me as Falcorn,
Flying high in the air, teaching me the mysticism of luck
Carrying me through Fantasia, teaching me I can make it however I wish

The muse has come to me as Eldest and as the Emperor Skesis.
Teaching me of the balance between Good and Evil
How they are intertwined for all time and for all existence
And how they must always be restored in the end

The muse has come to me as the Forest Spirit
It has told me how nature has a mind and a voice
How it is mighty and monstrous
And how it can resist the right hand of man – invention

The muse has come to me as Noface
Showing me humility and humbleness
Showing me the corruption of innocence
Showing me the beauty of reconciliation

The muse has come to me as Arthur, as Artemis, as Juanita and Merlin
Each time they bring their own message, each time it brings its own moral
Each time it brings the brilliance of the imagination in a new form
A new form for me to absorb into my mind, a new form for me to cradle in my heart

The muse has come to be as the Lone Power, as the One, and as God
The Lone Power teaches me the inevitability, the resolve, and the purpose of negativity
The One teaches me the use of humor, the usefulness of life and the wonder that are puns
And the muse comes to me as God, giving me only one thought
“Simply listen and you shall know me.”
And when I do, my Muse is there, in all her forms
With my next thought, my next ideal, my next dream
And with the one God who is always waiting.

Once upon a time there was a God. Then from his love and pain He brought Man. Man worshipped and loved God for a time but soon turned envious. He, Man, in the image of God struck and chained God, who in his undying love did not a thing against Man. The rest henceforth is history.

Ok heres one of mine. I did it about an hour ago so its still raw. Might be some errors in it but ah well. Peotry is bessed served hot and steaming with a side salad

I saw your face today
Ashamed to say, I shyed away
Afraid to face the pain
The sorrow that comes when I utter your name
A whisper, on the wind tossed
It speaks the loneliness, of love lost
The sound so faint it fades away
But the hurt is here to stay
Today I walked home in the rain
It masked me crying tears of pain
I lied down on my bed
Grabbed a pillow and hid my head
Can I have happiness? Never!
I will be haunted by your face forever

-yes i write emo poetry(when i feel emo. i write happy poems when i feel happy)

-opps i forgot the side salad. Sorry guys Smile

Lmao. Emo poetry is funny.

Forty Minutes; Kind of.

Idle passage, somber tiredness a plague.
Given opportunity to be free for a change
The opportunity is seized.
Taken into custody, given into company.
Somberness fades to pleasantry and quiet laughter.
Heat rises and delicate noses break the silence.
Quirky art dots the walls and familiar faces dot the way.
A vivid purpose found; the end of all heat.
A catalyst for creativity serves as the climax to aimless wandering.
Sharing a bubble with checkered-shoes,
Dutifully modest but accidentally immodest,
Death to the silence by a friendly yell of greeting
Curiosity yearning, creativity slated, silent ending to a silent beginning
Accepting tasks, unknown purpose, laughter when knowing why
Can’t show anything just yet; flee back to the start
Settle down and ponder diligently, going and going
Writing once more, somber tiredness settling in for a second time
Caged again but with memories to think on.
A saga done in forty minutes
Kind of done, kind of not. Blue signs, brown doors,
Red fire extinguishers and a white shirt hiding a black bra – third floors.

ARGUING WITH MYSELF

It is the common overlay that is
Not the one that could be
See the one that should be
Fear him
Fear what
Jeeze, why do you ask me?
How should I know?
Screw
Screw you?
No.
There’s a screw infront of you.
Oh I see it
Thanks for the warning.
Okay, jigaboo.
What?! Racist
Oh yeah, sure, like you don’t say that
I don’t
Liar.
Nuhuh
You’re the liar.
Oh yeah?
Yeah.
That’s a lie.
No it isn’t.
But you’re a liar.
… Tou-shae
Wow, we spelt that wrong.
I don’t care.
Well, neither do I!
Then why’d you bring it up?
Iunno.
Well, maybe you do care.
Why would I?
Why wouldn’t you.
Well…
Again, iunno.
Okay, weirdo.
I’m not a weirdo!
Yes you are
No I’m not.
Yea, you so totally are
Freak.
Stink.
Mink
CHINK, HAHA, RACIST!
I knew you’d say that. Funny guy, aren’tcha?
My toe hurts.
Our toe hurts, dummy.
Fine, OUR toe hurts.
Thank you.
What should we do about it?
Buy new shoes
But we’re broke
Yeah, and who’s fault is that?
Well, uhm…
Mr. I-need-to-spend-420 dollars-on-a-PS3.
Shut up!
You’re a loser, dork
No you’re a loser, nerd.
Oh so scared!
You better be, I’mma get you!
You’re gonna get yourself?
You betcha!

What?
You’re an idiot.
No I’m not!
Yes you are.
Lalalala…I’m nooot.
Can you please shut up and let me finish my poem?
Nope!
Pleaaaseee?
Nope, nope, nope!
You suuuuuck.
Yeah, I do, but you swallow.
You’re so immature.
I’m you, remember, so HAH! You’re immature too! Nananan, nananana, nanana!
You’re the other side of the brain, heart and soul! You’re totally different!
Yeah, sure I am. Pfft.
I’m not like you!
No, you’re not, but, we’re the same coin. Just different sides.
Well, yeah…
So while you’re the smart, arrogant, haughty/etc., evil side
And you’re the obnoxious, goof-ball, stupid, peace-love-humanity side
We both have a little of each in one another, hence, why I just owned you.
Grr.
Sooo, nananana, naananana, hurray for the left side, hurray for the left side!
I’ll hit you!
So you can get the migraine?
Oh my god, shut up, just the thought makes it huuurt!
Migraine, migraine, migraine!
STOP IT!
Okay, I’m sorry.
It’s alri-
MIGRAINE!
I HATE YOU!
IT’S DARK IN HERE!
It is, isn’t it?
Dontcha wish the skull was see-through?
Well, even if it was, the hair would be in the way.
We could at least see out the front.
Yeah… okay, I’d really like to finish the poem now, can I?
Fiiiineeee!
Okay, here goes…
Not the one that could be
See the one that should be
Fear him
Be near him, love him
And endear him.
Take him to a special place
A special place like outer space!
Let him fly above the clouds
Let him swim beneath the sea
Could we find him if we let him go?
I don’t know, don’t ask me!

HEY! What did I saaaaaay?
Hehe.

~Fin~
(Aw, do we have to fin now?)

Ooo oo ooo

How does the wind blow
The musical notes that I know
Into my ears and into my heart
A symphony of all symphonies, ushered by the larks

In the midnight hour, in the twilight showers
The sweet sonata of this musical life goes on
Expressing itself in all forms it can find
Possessing the beasts, the trees and any open mind.

Divinity struck a cord
And so I fall to my knees singing my praises to the Lord
For his discovery of the note
That keeps my mind and heart afloat.

Once upon a time there was a God. Then from his love and pain He brought Man. Man worshipped and loved God for a time but soon turned envious. He, Man, in the image of God struck and chained God, who in his undying love did not a thing against Man. The rest henceforth is history.

Is it amusing
that I find your first comment
in the above post,

so ironic that
I rolled around on the floor
laughing for five minutes?...

The Way Things Were

To think about the past
and want things back to the way they were

To wonder about the last
time that you had a discussion without an
argument

To sigh over how fast
things have changed in a year

To wonder if you can outlast
the frustration caused at the current time

And get things back, to the way that they once were.

I'll admit it I'm
Scared to death of all changes
But I try to breathe...

Easier. said than
Done. I guess you'll notice now
What frustrates seniors

Mostly scared of the
newness which invades our space
where we've been so long...

Take it as you will...I've personally got two different ways to interpret these haikus (which go together, by the way. And yes, the strange punctuation/capitalization is deliberate) that relate to my life. I'd be interested which interpretation people notice first, since I think the most obvious one is the one I thought of as an afterthought.

It's not all changes
that I am afraid of - just
the annoying ones.

Just the ones that I
do not want to occur now;
the ones I don't like.

But I guess that all
change has its place in the world
for without change we

would be stagnant. Stuck
in a time of darkness with
no forward motion.

P'r'aps I should welcome
change. Let it come. Let it live.
Let it be alive...

I think I know what
you both are saying and maybe
what you might not be

But, I confess I
contend with the first and stop
me- heart joy terrify

I look back and sigh.
Cold and clammy sometimes --
no way to live.

Instead I crumble
as best i can what ails
and make do with me.

Hhhhhhh.... believe it or not, this also relates to a certain sonnet I was forced to write on accord of my own teenager's stupid mind for no reason except for five solitary seconds in a space of time... gah! Why am I ranting in the poetry section of all things? I gotta go, sheesh!

This will be either sad or sadistically humorous, depending on how psycho you are.

I once had a dog
This high and this long
“Puppy” he was called
We loved him a lot

I remember the time
With a balloon strapped to his neck
He wouldn’t stop jumping back
Trying to reach it

Falling down each time
He hit the floor hard
But wouldn’t give up
He never gave up

I once had a dog
He barked when people
Walked near our door
Yet ran when they neared
Then, under the bed
He barked a little more
He never shut up

I once had a dog
If he ran for too much
And couldn’t stop fast
He would hit the wall
And fall to the floor

I once had a dog
Who swallowed a quarter
We laughed at what we thought
Was his usual dumb fun
I was sad when I saw
That he kept throwing up

To the doctor we went
With my little dumb dog
Who never gave up
Who never shut up
Who once fell to the floor
And began throwing up

To the doctor we went
I was sad when I saw
That my little dumb dog
Who would keep throwing up
Laid down on the floor
And never woke up

Comradely, Diego

Blow wind, come wrath; at least I will die with the harness off my back.

*may have to post this bit by bit* I have seventeen pages worth of poems to post here.

Cold

Cold,
It numbs the mind,
It gnaws the bones,
It comes to seek us within our homes,
It takes our feelings, it takes our minds,
And before you know it you will find,
There's nothing left for friends to find,
It hurts us so,
This coldness of ours,
It pulls us apart…
But there's a warmth, and there's a light,
A hope of kinds to warm our hearts,
For there are friends to help us through,
If you only know what to do,
Open your minds and open your heart,
And you will be off to a good start,
Talk to friends,
And set a new trend,
Warm your self and warm your home,
Warm your life and you will know,
The happiness has come for you,
The cold has fled,
There's nothing more to be said,
My poem is done,
It hasn't always been fun…
But life moves on.
The birds do move,
The babies cry,
The children frolic,
And in the blink of an eye..
The happiness returns.
It won't be quick, it might be slow,
But the world goes on, still,
The happiness stops not for us,
We must stop for it,
Or rather we must go on now,
Chase down our happiness,
And must not stop for coldness now,
To seep in bones so still,
The sadness must be dealt with,
To avoid it would be a mistake,
But know my words, they are not fake:
The sadness will not stop.
It's up to us to keep on going,
To face the happiness we know,
It's up to us to find the joy,
And not to sadness be a toy,
It's up to us to find our life..
To know the world keeps spinning.
So find the joy, and hold on tight,
And soon you will be swinging.

Life keeps going, no matter what,
It's up to us to know what's what,
So keep on with your joy,
And you will be no ones stay…
Life keeps on going on,
The question is,
Will you?

Home

Home.
A place of food,
A place of sleep,
A place of times,.
Where we don't weep,
A place of happy, a place of joy
A place of pains, a place deranged…
Our lives are weird, our homes are too,
But we're still happy,
How about you?
We live for love,
Love lives in us,'
And our homes will never turn to rust,
We love to live,
We live to love,
That's all there is,
That's all we need..
Love is love, and that's all there is.
So love your family, love your homes,
Love it all and know it's so,
Love is love that's all here is,
Love's love and that's that…

The first leaf

The wind rustles through the leafs,
Blowing leafs both red and green,
The leafs do fall,
The sun does rise,
The world does turn,
And I watch with my eyes,
As the first leaf does to fall to ground,
It touches the floor,
Without a sound,
And though leafs of fall are all around,
It is this one leaf that I have found,
For it is the first, among the many,
It's fall shall call the many,
The fall has started,
There can be no doubt,
And though my joy I will not shout,
I am happy.
The leaf has fallen,
The time has come,
For days to get shorter,
And there to be less sun,
But such thoughts enter not my head,
As I sit and look at my leaf, from in my bed,
For fall has come, a time of beauty,
Not a time to worry about duties..
The work can wait, just one more minute,
The time I'm still shall be quite finite,
But now I stare, and watch this leaf,
This beauty, this red, and golden sheaf,
Of nature's perfection, her touch on our lands,
The first leaf to fall,
Is in my hand.
I open the window, and wave it goodbye,
Knowing it and me shall not again say hi,
For the first leaf of fall has fallen at last,
And fall it must, now that our time together has past,
The first leaf of autumn , shall call them all,
But first it must be allowed to fall.

Just wake up

In darkest days the clouds do build,
With sadness do the dark days fill,
The life is failing,
The world will fall,
And all shall soon answer Death's call.

The world is dying, the sadness reigns,
There is a badness, there is no gladness,
And none can feign,
The wonders are dying,
The worlds shall soon go,
The rain is falling.
The trees rocking to and fro,
The sadness is building,
The lands shall die,
And soon all, shall breath one last time.

The land is dying.,
The happiness no more,
And all know that truth, at their very core.
The world is failing,
The life shall die.
The lands are falling,
The worlds shall die,
And knowing this, I do sigh.

There is no love,
There is no joy,
There are no children, playing with toys.
There are no people,
There is no things.
The world has fallen,
My friends, my kin.
We did not notice,
We did not know,
The world has fallen,
Even in the fall of snow,
And we did not know.,

The world was dying,
And we cared not,
All we cared for were the things we sought.

There was no fighting,
No children crying,
Just the humans,
And the fumes,
Just the dying,
The loss of life,
For the world was dying,
And we knew not.

That is the sadness,
That's why there's no joy,
No children playing with their toys,
It's Christmas time,
And the world is dead

I wake up now, the world is whole,
There is still hope, we still have pull,
We can wake up, we an save the world…
But we won't.
The life goes on, the destruction rages,
The light's still there, and there's till hope, the days are still fair,
The children play, the world moves in,
We can save the world as birds sing their song,
The love's still there, so wake up now,
And live your life,
For though it will always have strife,
It needs not this.
But you will not.
You sit around, complain you're hot,
And not a thing, you just do not,
So wake up now, as I cry your name, and help us save the day!
Don't still sleep, get up now,
While there's still something to save,
While the children are still playing,
And the birds' songs are still playing,
And the world is not dead,
And there's till hope for living,
And the world is still going….
Wake up, before it's too late…
Wake up, for your children's sake,
Wake up, before things do fall,
Wake up, do no longer stall,
Just wake up! And while all won't be well,
We'd have made a step, and that would be swell,
So wake up…
Just wake up.
Evil Christmas

Christmas trees are burning bright,
Many spirits screaming from the light,
Ornaments of tortured souls,
Ghosts and goblins, witches and ghouls,
Santa Claws shall kill you all,
The Christmas horror is coming,
Raking claws to tear through children,
Nightmares filled with man eating plum pudding,
Monsters crawling up from beds,
The Christmas trees are spinning,
Burning brightly in this hell,
Leaving those in their wake nothing more then empty shells,
The Christmas trees are spinning.

Santa Claws

Santa Claws shall kill you slowly,
In a way not at all holy,
Your life shall end,
Your world be gone,'
For Santa Claws is coming.
The lights that shine are captured pixies,
The orbs are captured souls,
The star was plucked from our heavens,
Bringing darkness and coldness untold.

The life is gone, the world has failed,.
The darkness is so dark,'
The life is gone, the world has ended,
For yourself you could not fend.
You were bad, and now you're dead…
And with your life, our Christmas Yule log will long be fed,
\for you were bad, and now you're dead.

Senses

Keyboard brushes against my hand,.
Cold wind bites my back,
For my homework, I do fear. I shall receive no slack,
Cat does meow, dark does bark, ferret clucks a
Feel the horse stiffen beneath its bridle.

Life goes on, you feel its movement, with every touch and breath,
Air blows past,
Leaves fall past,
Life goes by in a flash.

The words pour by, ignore them for now,
The touch is all you need,
The sights fly by, pretty with color,
But touch is enough to see,
The life goes on, beneath your fingers,
There's always something to see,
And life keeps going,
Though it you choose not to see,
The life is gong, your touch grows strong,
You feel the ways of life,
You look with your fingers,
Smell with your thumbs,
Live through the tips of your pinkies,
The life keeps going,
And you keep up,
The touch your eyes, and nose,
The life keeps going,
As you open your eyes,
And see the worlds untold.

You read the books, you see the life
Staring, but never touching a thing,
You need not touch, yo9ur eyes se all,
You feel it with a glance,
The life keeps going, passing through your eyes,
And you not a touch, but a glance,
For surely, this is all you need-
Just a look, just a glance,
As the world keeps turning,
And life keeps going,
Beneath your watchful eyes…
For the world will always turn, and the life will always,
One thing to another will always flow,
Whether you touch, me, smell or hear, onward life will go!
But will you, my friend, is what I wish to know…

Life shines briefly

Life shines so briefly,
It leaves you soon behind,
The world soon fades away,
So enjoy your every day,
Live your life,
Watch the time,
Love the world,
And know your life,
You can't control it,
Don't even try,
It simply will not fly,
And one day we all will die,
So live your life,
Live it well,
Don't become an empty shell,
Your life goes by,
The world does spin,
So live your life,
And you'll always win…

Friend.

Brown hair drifts,
Eyes do shine,
Time goes by,
On dinner you dine,
You wake up morning,
You speak your mind,
Time goes by,
The air does say,
And the world goes by.

The life does fly, you watch it pass,
You speak your mind, you know your past,
You live your life,
You know your friends,
You save the world,
And it never ends….

Your skin does change,
Your eyes do shine,
You speak the truth,
You know your mind,
At times you lie,
At times you cry,
At times yo9ur happy,
At times you sigh,
You are my friend,
And that's one truth,
You are not mean,
That is my truth,
That is our life, I tell myself,
You are my friend,
As this to you I send,
You are my friend,
And this I know,
As you rip out throats, and knock out minds/
You are my friend, that is my truth,
That is my life, that is my time,
You are my friend, you always are,
Weather we be near or far,
And that is my truth, that is my life,
That is my time that alleviates my strife.

Just one moment

A moment of love,
A moment of strife,
A moment of joy, of happy, and life,
A moment of life,
And a moment of death,
A moment is all that you ever will get,
A moment to think,
And a moment to see,
A moment to live,
And a moment with me,
A moment with friends,
And a moment for love,
A moment of time,
As you listen to my rhyme,
Cause It's all one moment,
As my rhymes goes past,
Twisting through my words,
Going oh so fast,
It's all one moment,
Though that you don't see,
It's all one moment, as you listen to me,
Just a moment to live,
And a moment to die,
A moment to love,
And a moment of strife,
A moment of joy,
A moment to be sad,
To grow up,
And have kids,
And look back at your past,
Just a moment of time,
Just a moment you see,
It's all one moment, will you listen to me?
There's only one moment,
There's only one time,
One second,
One moment,
Spinning on a dime,
It's all one moment,
As you listen to my words,
One moment twisting through my rhyme,
One moment to hear,
One moment of time,
It's all you'll ever get,
So enjoy your moment,
And you will be set…
It's all one moment,
Just enjoy your life,
It's all one moment, so don't dwell in the strife,
It's all one moment,
So see it through and through,
It's all one moment, a secret between me and you-
It's all one moment,
So listen to my rhyme,
It's all one moment, and it is your time,
It's all one moment,
So live in your day,
It's all one moment,
So this is what I say:
It's all one moment,
One wolf howling to the moon,
It's all one moment,
So live your life through and through,
Look up at the sky so blue,
And see the worlds unfold,
Cause it's all one moment,
So see what shall become,
It's all one moment,
So live your life,
Look up at the sun,
Live your life,
Live it through and through,
Cause it's all one moment,
Listen as that I tell you-
It's all one moment,
So rise up and live your life,
You've only got one moment,
So don't dwell in your strife,
It's all one moment,
So live it through and through.
It's all one moment, that's all is ay to you,
It's all one moment,
That's all there is to say,
There's all one moment,
So now I say good day!

There's a moment of love, there's a moment of death,
There'\s a moment of joy,. There's a moment again.
There's a moment of love,
There's a moment of life,
There's a moment of wonder, and a moment of strife,
Just a moment of life, just a moment of death,
Just a moment and then you do it all again,
There's just one moment, and that's all you get,
Cause it's all one moment, on that you can bet,
There's only one moment, one single thought,
Just a moment of wet, and a moment of draught.
A moment of love, and a moment of life,
A moment of death, but that's all right,
Because it's all one moment, and that all must see,
Just one moment, as you listen to me,.
All one moment twisting through my words,
Just one moment, sharper than the swords,
Just one moment, as my twisted rhymes turn,
'just one moment, and not two, and not a third,
Just one moment, of life and one of death,
Just one moment, and that's is all you get,
'Cause it's all one moment, just one twisting thing,
Just one moment, for this song to sing,
It's just one moment, that's all you'll ever get,
Just one single moment, on that you may bet,
Just one moment, and that's the end of it,
Just one moment, as here you sit,
Just one moment, it's all you'll ever get…
There's jus one moment, so live your life,
Just one moment, so endure your strife,
Just one moment, one moment of life,
Just one moment,
One moment of strife,
A moment of joy, and a moment of love,
A moment of death, and a moment of rest.

Glistening Light

Light glistens briefly, in the sky,
As I look at it, I do not die,
There is no pain,
There is no loss,
No fog no hurry, to the wolves I'm not tossed,
There is a peace in all the air,
And I do know this day is fair,
There is a joy, there is a wonder,
There is a love, not torn asunder,
This peaceful day, it shall not last,
The clouds will come, the joy will pass,
The life will go, the horrors come,
The wolves will howl,
The death will come,
The life will cease,
The joy will stop,
The light will pass,
It goes so fast,
But staring up, oh so high,
I care not, as time fly by,
For this is joy, this is hope,
This is wonder, Later I shall mope,
For this is my time,
And this is my life,'
This is my hope,
And I shall cope,
This is my hope,
And I know I'll cope,
Cause this is my hope,
This is my hope.

What a wondrous sight

Dragons flying through the night,
Oh what a wondrous sight,
I look to them, they look to me,
Understanding sweeps through me,
I know their thoughts, I know their feelings,
I know the love, the joys, the heart that=re beating
I know the feelings in their chest,'
The wonder, the love that survives all tests,
The dragon is a part of me,
That I truly can now see,
The dragon is a part of me.

It flies through night, I walk on ground,
But that is one truth that I have found,
This dragon is a part of me.
The dragon is a part of me.

The horrors, the joys, the anger in flashes,
The wonders the love,
The pushes, and the shove,
The loving, the wonders,
The jokes, and the sights,
The flights, and the wonders, and all the lights,
The beauty, the grace,
Down to the very beast,
The dragon is a part of me. The dragon is a part of me.

A glimmer of sunlight

Glimmering sunlight flashes of f wings,
These dragons are held up by no strings.
They fly, they twirl, and they flash, and sing.
They fly about me in a ring,
I watch they them flutter, and fly all around,
And know them truly, for these truths abound:
They are they dragons, and they are the proud,
They are the ones who are free of ground.
They fly, an they flutter,
The fire is there's,
They fly higher than any dove,
Their joy is my joy, my joy is theirs,
They fly through the sky,
And I feel to them my ties:
They are the dragons, I am the man, we are equals,
As we fly and fly in the sand.
This is the love, and this is the joy,
They are the dragons,
They are the fair.

Nature's Beauty

Butterfly flutters,
Dragon roars,
This life of ours is no boar,
People dance,
The dragon's fly,
The joy of ours will never die...
That's what we tell ourselves as we sleep,
Though we know it's false, we will not weep,
For what will die comes back again,
And joy once lost, will be felt again.

So as dragon's fly, and butterflies flutter,
As your daily bread you butter,
Know the joy, and feel it well-
For it a part of us, and that is well.
Our joy can never be truly felled.

Flowing through the depths of heart,
Stirring up things long unmarred,
Sweeping through the night unseen,
The sight of dragons does stoop me,
I look up high, see nature's beauty,
Take it deeply, feel it freely,
Take it in, and know it clearly...
This is truly nature's beauty.

Darkness shifts behind their wings,
Behind them lights up moon's rings…
The joys of sights leap in my heart,
And seeing this I have my start:
My pen to paper soon does dart,
I know what I shall write,
For inspiration there is no fight,
For I know nature's beauty…
This is nature's beauty.

Water

Ever flowing,
Swiftly churning,
Flying pas the ground,
Taking paths of least resistance,
Flowing through the ground,
Water floating, never stopping,
Always going who knows where,
Water flowing, always knowing,
Where it's going, through horrid and fair,
Look at water go.

Water flowing, never ceasing,
This is water's flow…
And where shall it flow?
That I know-only water knows.

Just a moment 2

There's just a single moment, just a single a thought,
A moment spinning through the world,
A moment o h so fraught,
A single emotion, it runs through the world,
It's all there ever is,
And it's all there's even been,
Just a single moment,
A second\d,
A thought,
It's al there's ever has been….
It's just one moment, it's just one thought,
One twisted twirling through, all coming to naught,
It's all one moment, won't you spend it with me>?
It's all one moment, or ca'nt hat you not see?>
It's all one moment, that all there ever was,
It's all one moment, this feeling of flying like a dove,
A moment to love,'
A moment to feel,
A moment to see touch the air,
A moment to keel,
A moment to die,
And a moment to live,
A moment of loss, and a moment bereft,
A moment of wonder, and joys gone untold,
A moment of life, and the death takes hold,
Just a moment is all,
Just a moment you see,
Just a moment a moment held between you and me,
A moment's all you get,
A moment's all I know,
A moment is the moment that it all comes to full,
A moment is the moment,
A second is a thought,
There's always been feeling-just a feeling that is fraught.
A moment is the life,
A moment is the death,
And then there's another moment, to do it all again,
But it's all really one moment,
It's all just one time,
A moment as you stand, and listen to my rhyme,
Just one moment twisting through my words,
Just one moment going past,
Just alone moment seeping through the cracks.,..

It's all just one moment,
It's all just one time,'
It's all just one thought,
As you listen to my rhyme\,
It's all just one moment,
Just a long lengthy loop,
So spend I with me,
While the time does swoop.

It's all just one moment,
Before death takes its hold,
But then it starts all over again, s the times go untold,
Because it's all one moment, why can that you not see?
It's all just one moment, so spend it all with me….

Clouds

They drift by, float through, fly overhead,
Go through sky so blue,.
The world fades beneath them,
As they cover the sun,
As the eat up the light, they eat up the fun,
There is no life left,
There is only death,
There is no joy,
They've left us bereft,
There is no wonder..
The clouds have done this,
Basted us apart to bits.
But he light always comes through,
The world keeps on spinning,
The sunlight shines through,
And the sky will once more be blue,
Cause the world keep son spinning,
The joy keeps on coming,
The happiness ensues,
And the world keeps on spinning
The skies are blue.

Words

The words do flutter beneath my hands,
The characters leap off their pages,
The rainy days float through my mind,
The sunny gardens shaded,
The words do float, gently, off the page,
They wrap me up so closely.
The story world is soon made real,
And as I read it, it I feel,
As the words float from the pages,
And though you may see just ink, and words,
I see worlds!
I see days spent in adventure,
Nights spent both near and far,
Times do pass, the pages turn,
The words flow, and their life I will not spurn…
The pages turn beneath my hands,
The cover closes at last,
The stories done, though in truth it goes on,
For world will never be gone..
The life still moves, I know its there,
As I open another world,
The worlds are mine, and I am there's-
These are my worlds,
These are my words,
As the pages turn beneath my fingers….
These are my words.
Will you live them with me?

Love:

It feeds off us, tears us apart,
Takes us piece by piece,
Sizes us up, throws us away,
Doesn't leave us to last another day,
It gives us pain, drives us insane,
Leaves us deranged,
Why do we do it,
Why don't we fight?
Haven't wee been given enough of this sight,
To know how it ends,
To see how we die,
To know that we'll be hurt,
And cry into our shirts..
Have we not learned, do we not know?
Can we not see to the end of a stone's throw?
Why do we don't, why have we not learned?
Why do we not fight, and let pain have the fight?
Maybe there's no fighting,
Maybe love always wins,
But why not fight for what right?
Or maybe love's right-maybe pain is the way,
Loss again and a gain, without any gain.
Maybe loves right, maybe love is they way…
But yes, is what I say at the end of the day.
Love has its pain,
But love is a joy,
Love is a feeling, and thought at times we are its toy,
Love is my love,
Love is my joy,…
For that I will deal with beings loves toy

The pan my be great, but so is the gain,
If we loose at days end, that's a day before we are slain,
To never feel love, is to never have lived,
Not to have died, but to let our life slip always as we have not a care to give,
So I hold onto love,
Let it sweep me away,
For at the end of the day…
I love.
And that is my way.
I love-that is simply my way

The truth of love

Love kills us slowly, love brings us pain,
But in the end it also gives us gain,
Love treats us kindly,
Love hurts us bad,'
It lifts us sup, and drops us down as if we bounce back like rubber bands,
Love is a wonder, and love is a pin,
And though may always drive us insane…'
Love is love, that's tall there is to say,
It's why I don't fight, it's why it gives me not the fight,
I love my love, the love and love I shall feel.
This is my love,
And love I do feel.
I always have loved, and always I will,'
Never will I receive my fill.
I do love, and hope I am loved,
And that will always be,
No matter what those around me see…
For that is love, and love is me.

Wow, I haven't been on this topic in like, forever!

yr: I will now eternally remember this line:

quote:
Our lives are weird, our homes are too,

But we're still happy,

How about you?

Big Grin That's just awesome, yr. Big Grin

"Believe something and the Universe is on its way to being changed. Because you've changed, by believing. Once you've changed, other things start to follow."

Thankee. *has more now* I should point out-the christmas and santa claws poems were written for one person in particular...I don't usually write anything that twisted. :P
Valentines

Valentines comes up once more,
There's not love, just a time to endure,
I've got nobody no valentine,
All I can do is give a sigh,
It's my life, that's my joy,
That's my strife, it's no one's toy,
I always love, I rarely get,
I love my love, and I deal with strife.

My love comes near, I know her not,
I wish her close, she laughs a lot,
I see her clearly, she backs away,
I know not what to say,
Valentine is coming near,
I know not what I do fear,
Except that my love is never truly here.

Do I love her, do I not,
Why must my life be so fraught?
My life's a soap opera, but where's the cast,
Why must it all pass so fast?
I know not what I should be thinking g,
I just want love, I don't do drinking
Time comes closer, I don't know what to do,
The valentines is coming, yahoo,
I don't know what to so day or do,…

Who will ask, who will, say,
Will you be mine this day,
I don't know what it will say…
I just hope to be asked some day.

This is my life,
I'll deal with strife,
I live it well,
And that is swell,,
I hope to be asked, I hope to be seen,
And worthy, maybe, I will be deemed.

I hope to live life, I hope to live it well,
I hope to live life, wt hope it will be swell,
Love come to me, let me see it near,'
I look for love,
Does it look for me?
I look for you, do you look for me?

Love is love

Tiger bites,
Dragon flies,
Love does go on,
It is the way.
What you say holds no sway,
For love is love, at the end of the day.

That's the last of my current batch...I turned all of these into the litterary magazine at my school.
