Vell...School is ok. I really like history, and Science is sorta fun at times. Gym gets overrated, thinks I, and music is hell. On wheels. Becoming a hotdog stand when you haven't eaten for 40 days.
Nono, jk,jk. Though Music really is crappy in my school. School is sorta fun, sometimes. I hate the amount of homework they give, and I hate all the pressures of major tests, but on the whole, no. Shcool is oK doK just let your heart take over and sign with a flourish |

I personally think school could use some improvments. Like no homework over the weekends or pizza choice every day (yum, PIZZA!!!111) Even though ive just started Jr. High it's still a drag. And my school district is so peace-happy. They wont even let us play games that involve throwing ball at each other, eliminating dogeball, and wall ball. Man it sucks and the facilty? Don't even get me started. I mean the are nice, but hard line each and every rule and guideline they can find! But other then that the classes are O.K. i guess...

School ... I remember school... worrying about your social status, what marks you were going to get, whether that boy (or girl) over there liked you as much as you liked them... lol. Ok, so my school wasn't like that, but it was close. I actually enjoyed school, but now that I've completed a year of uni (aka college), I like it even more. Because there are so many more people there, it is much easier to make friends and meet people who share the same interests as you do. Its great. And also because there are so many people, you don't have to worry about making an idiot of yourself and then having to live with it for the rest of your school life

School...*sigh*...it's both the coolest place to be, and a torture chamber from hell. I hate it, but I couldn't survive without it.It's fun, but it's also annoying and boring. It's a place where you cry, but you also have the funnest times ever.
School is both good and bad. I have very mixed feelings about it. It really just depends on how your grades are at the moment,or whether you have friends in any of your classes. |

Thanks for unlocking this one too, Garrett.
Alrighty then. Now, TTOGR doesn't have to be littered with school complaints. Let 'em all go here! I wish school started later. I mean, my dad takes me to the bus stop, then drives home and sleeps for a little while longer. Same with two of my neighbors. And then, we get home before our parents stop working.... It really is an insensible timing system, in my opinion. Now, a high school, which gave a presentation for the eighth grade at my school recently, said that they start... I think it's either one or two hours later than my school, and they say that attendance percentages are higher than most other schools around. |

I'm in my last year of school, and I love it. I get the feeling that that's something not very many people can say. But... this year, the work load isn't that bad -- well, it's all relative, I guess. Last year, I worked really hard, so I'm used to it, and this year is actually easier. It's tougher than most of my peers, but I've done worse, so... yeah, it's all relative. Anyway. But I love my courses, and I love learning, and I love the people. I am gonna miss everyone so much.

Good idea Eric, now, I can talk about school stuff somewhere else, and leave TOGR for just random stuff!!
School, no school next week! Anyway, no need to bash school at the moment, I like my classes and stuff. So yeah. "It's the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary." -- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho ||What if I'm not the hero? What if I'm the bad guy?|| 11.21.08|| |

School is okay. There was this boy that was harassing me in email and at school, but the administration sorted that out. Now I just need to take the SAT soon. I'm most likely going to take the ACT as well. The good thing is that Spring Break is next month for us.
Emi you guys are just now getting Winter Break? Or did you mean Spring Break? We always get Winter Break during Christmas time and we get Spring Break during Easter. Writing is nice, but you have to live in the real world sometimes.-Me 09/06/07 Writing is an art, and words are like colors. |

I completely agree...some parts of school--read, geometry P.E., and teachers from hell--I could totally do without. At the same time, though, it's hard (for me, at least) to completely hate school because you see your friends at least once a day and you get to learn cool new stuff--well, some of the time. Spyells. We had "Christmas Vacation" around the holidays... and then Winter Break is always the end of Feb. Spring Break or April vacation is usually the last week of April. and then we have some three day weekends and such..

We have Winter Break for Christmas and Spring Break for Easter. Our district hates to give us a lot of time off. It sucks sometimes. I mean my cousins school district gets three weeks for winter break, a week for Thanksgiving (we get four days), and two weeks for spring break. We get only two weeks for Winter Break and a week for Spring break. I have to admit at least it's a break. But more time couldn't hurt. My school has A LOT of academic extracurricular activities that you can participate in... and I am in all of them. Quite literally... along with Piano and Fencing... so I am busy every day... oh well... actually, I have to type up a speech right now... So Dai Stihos! At least you got two weeks of for winter!! Haha, maybe that's why we get feb break as well. I just don't know.... Wolfy, I used to do a lot of stuff too. Like, I had piano, basketball, play, chorus, school, and I even volunteered at the animal shelter back in the middle school. Now, it's work, school, basketball, and NHS. Fun stuff. I need fifteen more minutes for community service for this month!!! Where can I find fifteen minutes? I do not know. Heh, my Spring break was Wednesday until friday (this week). If they had made it start on Tuesday, we wouldn't even have the weekend.
I'm a realist, which is terrible, because I always say the good and bad parts, and I can never decide which one I'll be sticking to. Bad: A lot of my teachers are evil, I have plenty of projects and tests one after the other (bad because I'm a procrastinator (see signature)), way too many subjects, starts too early, and... Well, not many good things about it. Good: I usually don't talk to my friends otherwise, every Wednesday is a halfday (ends at 1:20), science is fun, Math is annoying but good to have (since my goal is becoming an engineer), computers is okay, except all we learn is Microsoft Office, which my mom teaches, Art is also fun, and so is Gym, although I'm not that good at it (climbing ropes is fun), and my English teacher is funny. That's pretty much 6 out of 13 okay/good classes, so it's almost balanced out, other than the fact the art, gym, and computers don't appear often on my schedule. Oh - and since it's a Jewish school, we have many holidays when we have to stay home. Well, I wrote more good things, but the evil of my teachers (no offence good ones like Mr. Benn) compacted is the opposite of 10 good things "If his grin was any wider the top of his head would have fallen off" -Terry Pratchett Candyman Jr, Master Procrastinator, Joe Green, Vashmata, Master of Technology |

Oh, my God. Quarterfinals week. All you other highschoolers, you know how I feel. I took American Government and English today...the English was fortunately ridiculously easy--we were allowed to use our books AND the dictionary--and the American Government was okay. Not easy, but not terribly hard either. Tomorrow, though, I have Geometry and Physical Science. My Geometry teacher has a reputation for painfully hard tests, and Geometry is my worst subject anyway, so I've been hitting the books (against my head, the wall, etc. Maybe some will absorb.

My school starts at the normal 8:00, but The first day of school this year wasn't until August 27. And we don't get out until mid June.
My school's subjects are ok, and so are the teachers, and jsut liek everywhere else there are good teachers and bad teachers. |
