School! NO DON'T TYPE THAT WORD! IT'S BLASPHEMY!!
I'm done! Anyway, I hope you have fun. It certainly sounds like you're going to have a full summer. I don't get out of school until June 12 (11 if you're like most of my friends Writing is nice, but you have to live in the real world sometimes.-Me 09/06/07 Writing is an art, and words are like colors. |

Well, Spyells, I hate to break it to you, but there's an entire thread on this site dedicated to "THAT WORD".
I know that I'll probably be very worrisome about high school his summer.... And mourning over leaving the middle school.... And wondering whether we'll be getting new buses.... I had an interview with our school's bus coordinator today, and he said that my bus is one of the next few buses to be replaced by a new one. So that's something to look forward to. |

Yes, I know I have checked out that topic on a number of occasions. *cough, cough*
But anyway, I'm worried about my Senior year. Actually I'm more excited than worried. But many of my friends are scared (fill in the blank) because most of us will be turning 18 soon. We will soon be adults and in a years time we will have to become more responsible. Right now I'm trying to figure out a way to get all of my friends together for our last summer together. After Senior year that next summer everyone will be getting ready to start their lives. It will be difficult to keep in touch with everyone. I guess I can only take it day by day right now. (I'm worried that my mom wont be able to pay for my senior things next year. She will get the cap and gown, but what about the class ring, prom, yearbook, and grad night? But you want to know what's a real bummer? Because our governor (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is doing budget cuts to the schools my class isn't going to have a senior picnic. In fact the class of 2008's picnic will be the last one for a long time. Sucks huh? Ah spyells that sucks about the no senior picnic thing.
I'm going to be a senior next year too!! This summer for me is filled with work and visiting colleges!!! Yay! "It's the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary." -- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho ||What if I'm not the hero? What if I'm the bad guy?|| 11.21.08|| |

I also am going to be a senior next year. I'm really looking foward to next year. The seniors have left so my class is now the oldest in the school. It's very different. 5 days until summer break for me!

I am going to spend this summer doing a blessed nothing. It will involve many trips to the beach, books, and a lot of exercising (I am horrribly out of shape, plus my friend needs to train for field hockey try-outs, plus gas prices mean I'ma be walking and biking a lot more than usual...) Next summer I think I'll apply to B&N or somesuch bookstore. I think I'd actually feel comfortable there, a first!
Eric: Don't sweat it. I nearly freaked, but it's not worth it. Just go into it with a cool head, and know that you won't know everything and you might make a few mistakes along the way. Chances are you'll learn to love your new school pretty quickly. It's a big change, and a lot of stuff happens, but it's worth it and so much better when you finally find a place where you belong. It feels nice, spyells: Oof. No picnic. Ouch, sorry. And I know what you mean about funding. Aforesaid oil prices make everything more expensive... plus college fees... plus HS fees... I think I'm just about in the same boat. But you'll pull through. You always do, somehow. *huggles* good luck, and I hope you have a fantastic senior year! just let your heart take over and sign with a flourish |

Emi: What colleges are you going to be visiting this summer? One of my friends visited a bunch of colleges on the East Coast over Spring Break. She had a blast!
Mona0622: You're lucky that you only have five days left. I still have nine. Mel: Thanks for the encouragement. As long as they don't cancel Prom and Grad Night I'll be fine. But I was really looking forward to having the Senior picnic. Writing is nice, but you have to live in the real world sometimes.-Me 09/06/07 Writing is an art, and words are like colors. |

Mona0622: Five days? Lucky! I have the whole summer to go through, still doing schoolwork! It's one of the side effects of being homeschooled. My mom always makes even the vacations educational, and anytime there's nothing else to do, she forces schoolwork on me.
And no, that's not the church I go to. I've heard of it, though, I think. I think it would be amusing if my friends ran into your friend in the DR this summer. Anyway, remember, when your friend gets back, to ask him/her if she/he met anyone who claimed: 1. Insanity, or mental illness 2. That they just wanted to help the children have fun while learning about the bible 3. That they were from the Fairfax Church of Christ. That's what I've heard the missions team claims, anyway. It would be odd if they did run into each other...and prob not going to happen, but oh well. "Believe something and the Universe is on its way to being changed. Because you've changed, by believing. Emi: 14 days!
From the sound of it, everyone here is a lot older than me. I will be entering 5th grade next year, and everyone is talking about high school, wow. Well, I do not really have any plans for this summer, I might be going to a Girl Scout summer camp, but I am not sure yet. Ars longa, vita brevis (Art is long, life is brief) -- Seneca |

I'm moving to Nevada at the end of the year. (a disappointment to many a long distance friend, who can no longer call me "that new york kid." Even if i AM orriginally from California. *Sighs dramatically*.)
It won't be that bad, though. Actually, it might just be fun. :P It's the closest I've been to getting back to Callifornia in a while. dragons rule! what? everything else i might say would take longer then three lines. |

That's awesome knieve! I still have six days left and counting!
I plan to go to different places like amusement parks. It would be nice to go back to Universal Studios Hollywood, but some stuff got burned last week. One of the sets that were burned was a part of the Ghost Whisperer set, the good thing about Hollywood is that they make duplicates of everything. So even though millions of dollars was lost, they still have a set that is perfectly in tact. My friends are jealous of me though, they have AP (Advance Placement) classes next year. I chose not to take AP's but all of my classes are accelerated. They have summer homework. And they will have tests the first week of school. I don't have to do that. Tomorrow is my last day of school, although we're not really going to be doing much. I had finals yesterday (chem) and today (pre-calc) and now I'm done for the year. unfortunately, I have homework over the summer, for AP Gov, but I hope it won't take long.

So this is my start of the second week of no school, and I already don't know what to do with myself. Haha.
So far I went to the beach, went to this little park where there's go-karting and mini golf and a bunch of other games with my bf, and worked. I work two or three days during the week. Sometimes I wish I can work more so I can get more money, but I like not having to work. What have you guys done lately? Well I took my Senior Portrait on June 19. I went to the Observatory that's in our area. I saw Kung Fu Panda in theaters, and we plan to go see Wall E next week. I hung out with my best friend. We went down to the pier. I hung out with my other best friend. We took my little brothers to the park. I have nothing to do at this moment either. We plan to go to Disneyland next month, but we don't know when yet. Also my birthday is coming up. My mom wanted me to give her a list of places I might want to go, and things that I might want. I usually will only get one or two things from the list. But this way my Mom doesn't have to do a guessing game by trying to figure out what I want.

I got back from my very long vacation today. First we went to my grandparents' house in New Jersey. Then to Jersey City. Then to New York City. Then grandparents' house. Then Rhode Island. Then grandparents' house again. And now, finally, home! Yay!! I've missed home...and my pet rabbits...and my pet toad...an my pet gecko...I have a lot of pets.
I'm so happy to be back! OMG...a thunderstorm just hit! And I'm reading a Twilight fanfic right now! And they're playing baseball! (haha, Emi, it's your fic, btw. Heee...) Okay then! Not much else to say...ooh, I just had a friend email to say that she's deathly allergic to my pet toad...but nothing else interesting has been happening, since NYC and RI. Dai Stiheh!
